Since a young age I have always dreamt of becoming a lawyer and specifically working in the area of family law.

Fast forward to 2020 when I graduated from the University of Wollongong with a Bachelor of Laws and Arts majoring in Psychology, the completion of the Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice in 2021, and my Admission to practice as a Solicitor in December 2021.

Whilst studying, I undertook an Internship at a Family Law Mediation Firm and during this time strengthened my passion for out of Court alternatives for dispute resolution, focusing on client-focused and creative resolutions with reduced conflict.

I joined the Family Law Matters team in 2020, and during that time I worked as a Legal Assistant and Law Graduate providing support to the solicitors on the team with all types of family law situations. I am now the newest solicitor on the team, and am fortunate to be mentored and guided by a highly experienced and specialised team.

Having completed a major in Psychology, I am particularly passionate about ensuring clients have appropriate safeguards in place to protect their mental health and improve their wellbeing whilst navigating what is often the most challenging time of their lives. I am further passionate to work towards the protection against family violence, and in ensuring clients and their children are safe and free from further violence.

I have undertaken Collaborative training in 2022, and I aspire to complete my Specialist Accreditation in Family Law in future.
